Hey, I'm Jai.

Hey, I'm Jai.

Hey, I'm Jai.

I’ve been building things since my mid-teens. Many of these things failed, and often it was lonely.

I told myself that as long as Monday remained my favourite day of the week, and I could fall in love with the process, everything else would work itself out.

I built more things, some of them worked. At 23 I was running a team of 13 people and turning over $1M/yr with a creative agency.

Suddenly I had real responsibilities... Employees, people who looked to me as a leader. I worked 12 hours a day, I had to be the “hardest working in the room”.

I thought I could do it all alone, until I couldn’t.

Nobody knew that I had spent $1.2M in the same year ($$ that I didn’t have), and the only way to keep the lights on was to let go of half of the team and automate virtually everything.

I realised I had very few people I could open up to, and share the real challenges of being a founder. I had spent all my time working and none of it building genuine friendships.

So, I dedicated a year to focusing on relationships. I stopped trying to be the most interesting person in the room, and instead became the most interested. I surrounded myself with curious people who were building cool shit. People who cared about their health & happiness.

I learnt that people matter... like a lot. It’s the people that make the place. It’s the people that lead to fulfilment in this human existence of ours.

Just like our ancestors, it was the tribe that gave them strength.

It's the same in business.

We live in a world of secrecy and competition, and people often feel like they need to put a wall up or operate in private to succeed.

I believe a rising tide lifts all ships.

I believe in founders supporting founders to not only build businesses that they love, but lives that they love too.

I believe taking care of your mind, body and spirit allows you to build more profitable businesses, with more longevity.

Now, I optimise for life.

I’m building Art Of Mondays for the people who are doing the same.

Founders around the globe who seek other ambitious minds to build alongside, and help each other succeed.

Founders who make Monday their favourite day of the week… This one’s for you.
